Megawatt (MW) and Gigawatt (GW)
A megawatt is one million watts of power; a gigawatt is one billion. For scale, ~1 GW serves roughly 750,000 typical US homes. Meta Hyperion is publicly projected at up to 5 GW; Hut 8's anchor lease at River Bend is 245 MW.
