Privacy notice

Clear terms before you share information.

This notice applies to the LouisianAI website, public MCP tools, newsletter, project-alert, AI readiness, and vendor-intake forms. Last updated August 28, 2026.

What we collect

Newsletter and project-alert forms collect your email address, the interest or project context, the page where you signed up, a browser user-agent, and a one-way IP hash used for rate limiting.

AI readiness forms collect the business, contact, email, city, industry, company size, stated AI use, workflow problem, budget range, and consent response you choose to submit. Vendor forms collect company, contact email, website, category, service areas, industries, and optional proof notes.

The public MCP endpoint receives the tool name and bounded input needed to answer a request. LouisianAI's application telemetry records only an allowlisted protocol version, method, canonical tool name, response status, duration, response size, completion class, and random request ID. It does not place tool arguments, search queries, URL query strings, cookies, authorization values, IP addresses, or browser user-agent strings in that application telemetry.

Why we use it

We use newsletter and project-alert data to send the requested updates. We use readiness and vendor data to review the request, respond, prevent abuse, and maintain the submission record. Vendor information is not published automatically; public directory placement requires human review.

The basis for newsletter and project alerts is your request to receive those updates. The AI readiness form also requires an affirmative consent checkbox. Vendor submissions are processed as a request for directory review.

MCP inputs are used only to return the requested public, source-governed result, enforce bounded request validation, and operate the service. The tools do not require a LouisianAI account, change site or external state, or return private LouisianAI records.

Where it goes

Submission records are stored in Neon Postgres. LouisianAI is hosted on Vercel, and submission notifications may be sent to the internal review inbox through Resend. Those providers process information only to operate the service for LouisianAI.

We do not sell submitted personal information or use it for third-party ad targeting. We disclose it only to the internal reviewers and service providers needed for the uses above, unless disclosure is required by law.

If you use LouisianAI through ChatGPT or another MCP client, that client provider separately processes the conversation and tool exchange under its own terms and privacy notice. LouisianAI returns the same public research data available through the website and does not receive your full conversation history from the tool input.

Retention and your choices

The current service has no automatic deletion timer. We retain submitted records while they are needed to operate the requested service, respond to the submitter, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or stop using your submission, and we will review the request against those obligations.

Send privacy, deletion, or unsubscribe requests to leads@louisianai.com. Include the email address or submission context needed to locate the record.
