Industrial Tax Exemption Program (ITEP)

ITEP grants a state-level exemption of up to 80% on qualifying ad-valorem property taxes for new manufacturing investment, subject to approval by the affected local taxing bodies (parish, municipality, school board, sheriff). It is one piece of the stack — alongside Act 730 and PILOTs — that materially de-risks data-center capex underwriting.
